It makes sense the hate comes the fact that Sony released a system in 2016 with only 2x the gpu power of its previous model without upgrading the rest of its components this marginal update is to last another 3 or 4 years. While it's competitor is releasing a device with about 4x the power of the system Sony is upgrading.?
Something fishy about this, I don't believe this completely, I believe they wanted to keep the price down. I find it hard to believe that they couldn't put some kind of toggle switch to allocate only 8 GB for the same purpose, if they had say 16 GB.

Yes, I imagine this is because the gpu on the XBS was not upgraded 2x more than what was launched in 2013. Xbox One S is a more feature-complete system in some ways than even the just-announced PlajyStation 4 Pro. I never said the PS4Pro 4K "like" quality was a bad thing. I welcome it with laughter. I know it will become the new OK just fine standard for the next 14 months.

I think MS is separating Xbox from being compared to PS sales by launching Scorpio many months apart from Neo & NX. The specs being far apart from the competing device also says when their competitors launch say the PS5, Devs should be able create games for both systems, for now the Scorpio is MS way to stay one foot ahead in specs. This cycle will repeat itself from here on out. They are changing the console generations on their term. We'll player MS well played.

I just think using 4hrs hours of gameplay to promote is a bit of desperate move. 30 minutes is the most you need to know if you should buy the game or not.
