1st unless it's indie game there are too many variables for everyone to start with the same basic settings.

Xbox One X = Beast Mode. I see more cross play coming to pc/xbox. Which I don't like much if people cheat by lower the gpu settings to get the upper hand in some games.

DLC only matters if it's worth the investment to the player. MS & Sony see the trend dying that's why they are not offered as much as last Gen.
With the X1X coming out this year. I can see by the end of next year when games on are native 4K+ better performance vs 1440p dynamic scaling lesser performance. Consensus will be I'll wait for the DLC to enjoy it using true power...

When there are examples of Dev making the same game use checking board rendering on high end PC and X1X, how does that equate to X1X being too weak for true 4K. Phil said it's up to the devs. Devs are using it as they like. So let's take that argument out your war chest..

I'm prepared for more games to be full 4K Also. If nor it shouldn't be that far off plus PS4 PRO reception from devs warmed up to your expectations for about 5 secs, then facts snaps me out of it. Like all the full 4k and dev support plus the extra bells and whistles.

Yea, but when pc gamers have to put their pc on the lowest settings to play games like battleground then it seems pointless if there's not a equal level playing field.
Besides I have a 4K capable PC but there's nothING like live on pc. The Xbox app is not exactly the same.
I bought a PS4 Slim yesterday... there was no point getting the pro to move from 1080p to 1440p.
I'll just wait for the X1X if I want a true 4K device with real power but for now this will be sufficient enough.

I bought this game for X1 and PC with over 9 thousands Kills. Halo 5 was my game but since TF2 released its been TF2 for 2017 so far. This game and Shadow of Mordor I can't seem to let go.

@ the beginning of this Gen PS4/X1 people didn't know the specs difference between the 2 system. But word of mouth/Internet said get the system with the most power not only will you get good exclusives but your COD/BF games will look and play better oh and you need a 1080p tv see its full glory.
Fast forward 3.5 years later. Come black Friday 2017 4K TV sales I bet will be #1 on people...
