Mind you for the price of them where I live they would cost several hundred of your dollars - I paid £250 for my SonyErricson Which is roughly $500 (maybe this is the rason the PS3 didnt seem that expensive for me?)

FFV11 is my fav game ever, (no exceptions, it was 3 discs) yet for a next gen experience i dont wanna cahnge discs when the tech is available so that I dont have to..
I dont know if anyone understands this but when I spend £300 or more for a next gen experience is somethiung new..

Well balananced comment, I personally enjoy Both sony an msoft ( and any other co company whos hardware i buy) pushing new features as it means more for cameras like me. I can understand some peoples comments about some of the characters in FF but if they ever play the games (and like RPGs) theyb would know how good the games are - IMOH the best RPGs around..

I don't want any big game to go multiplatform at release,
as it means no version of the game will be optimized for any platform, (which would be the one Id get) therefore will not get the best version of the gam e that can be.

FFXII isnt even out here yet! Im dying to play it but to tell the truth Iv enjoyed all the FF (except X-2 and to alesser degree VIII) that I dont mind how long I have to wait as long as they get it done properly!
however without a engaging storyline and immersive gameplay they are nothing as far as I'm concerned.
I find it abit sad that all some people now days are concerned with is "next gen graphics"
I mean just think of all the games that people love from gaming history (FFVII for me) they are no where near the graphical quality of today, however they hold a unique appeal to their fans due to the caliber of there storyline gameplay etc and how much FUN people...
with you on that one, I think Capcom is one of the few devs who seem to have there head screwed on straight.
At the end of the day it doesnt matter to me if games are multiplatform, but the approch Capcom have taken in the past (as mentioned by Sevir04 above) allows them to keep their loyal fans happy as well as share their work with other consol fanbases and gives scope to trying new things or add a different twist to already established series)
