Activision i wouldnt call it benchmark--- perhaps you should look at other developers games before calling it that --- titanfall, second son, even kz looked good.

I think the author is lost in the sauce--- nvidia new technology im sure will amaze-- but fundamentally tablet games will never replace consoles for several different reasons-- first tablet games are mostly enjoyed in burst. Lengthy, epic games, pricier games are more tailored to console. Two the platforms dont stay stagnant-- games for ios and android have to be versatile to meet the demands of everyones use, in way its alot like pc but unlike pc it isnt upgradable and it sure as hell not go...

Coming from gaming mostly on 360-- sonys plan this gen seem more concrete-- I understand MS made grounds the last couple of months to win back fans-- but it just seems... well reactionary -- these things goes into months of planning and on top of it all they have a new head honcho which she have zero gaming business experience-- who happened to spearhead windows 8, my most hated os of all time. Don't know why you got a disagree but you are correct-- 4k is possible on video but the amount of power needed to run 4k fluidly for games isnt going to be available this coming gen--- they could do it but thats going back to the ps3 launch issues where technology cost to much and hiked the price of the console. Hate to say it but its obvious nvidia is bitter-- the margin on pc is definitely better but in no way the pc's volume of sales is even remotely close to those of the console's. If last games is any indication consoles alone will probably clear 17-20 million copies, pc will probably clear anywhere from 1-3 and thats high balling it.
