exactly. people forget programs used to come on whole sets of floppy discs before CDs, and mulitple CDs before DVDs. Its the natural progression of storage technology.
Optical Media Storage will continue to be viable for decades. Though I can see it eventually being replaced by flash memory. And through its viability will continue space will become an issue, which is where blu-ray enters like a hero.

You can't really see Windows 7's power unless you have a machine that can flex its muscles. Otherwise its just gonna perform a bit better and look much cooler than XP.
