No, YOU guys keep buying Pokemon games. I DON'T. The last Pokemon I bought was Pokemon Sword and that was because I liked how it's location was inspired by Great Britain. Even then, I skipped about five generations and some change because I thought Pokemon reached its pinnacle at Silver/Gold/Crystal gen. Needless to say I was disappointed in Sword because they moved away from its traditional 2D pixel artstyle which made Pokemon magical in the first place. And let's not forget the...
As far as I'm concerned Sony has the upper hand because they can acquire Japanese game devs while Microsoft can't. Or they can but they have to go through loops and rails with the Japanese government in order to get their approval. And even then the chances of MS acquiring a Japanese dev is still 000000000001%.
Source? I'd like to read that interesting tidbit.
Better stock up on energy drinks and have your senses on maximum alert because once Nintendo opens preorders for possible collectors editions, scalpers will be taking every single one of them without a second thought to humble customers like us.
I remember reading a quote saying, "Keep it short but sweet." with a hidden secondary statement, "at a reasonable price of course."
Does that mean graphical downgrades or possible cut content? It wouldn't surprise me if we use an ingame cursor for navigation purposes like what Atlus did with P3 Portable.
I wonder if Sony is next. It wouldn't surprise me if Tencent already has small ownership of them already.
@bathyj
I learned something new today from you and Orbilator: ND employees rather pack up and go home instead of tackling any challenges standing before them.
Lol I'll keep that in mind the next time I see an N4G user proclaiming Naughty Dogs are Naughty Gods.
Thanks for being a reference. :)
Leave Naughty Dog and help 343 Industries and/or The Initiative. They need all of the help they can get.
Whoever posts these Amazon sales here, I want to say thanks. I've bought some games for really good prices thanks to you folks.
I've noticed you've listed western publishers that you're done with. Let's not forget that eastern publishers are also following the same trend too. Square-Enix, Tecmo, SEGA, hell even Sony has their eyes on the gold too.
The OLED should've been the Switch 2 last year. Or at least an upgraded Switch version with improved hardware, speed, etc.
Did you by any chance get yours delivered by Gabe Newell? He personally was delivering Steam Decks to customer's homes around Washington state.
There are three teams working on the Pokemon franchise:
One team worked on the Pokemon Diamond / Pearl remakes.
Second team worked on Pokemon Arceus.
Third team is currently developing Pokemon Scarlet / Violet.
I agreed with you until you said, "human life is very precious..." We humans have caused so much destruction to mother nature and to ourselves. This Ukraine / Russia conflict is a small dose of karma that's coming to haunt us.
It's a shame that open world has become such a big trend nowadays. If devs want to create a big world, do it where it feels just about right. Don't make it so excessive where people just feel so overwhelmed and quit because of it. That's why I feel Skyrim nails it really well. I've heard Bethesda's next game Starfield will feature planets (yes more than one) will be the size of Skyrim if not bigger, so that'll be a concerning issue for me.
But return...
Long as it's not Dota 2 related. Gosh I hated Artifact and Dota Chess.
