I would rather ND used their time and other resources on a new, single player game. Its been well over 2 years since Sony announced a new single player game, I see this as kind of an insult. Worst part is I will spend the $10 on it anyway.

Which will be foolishly under utilized. Best controller ever made hands down.

So the current highest grossing game of the year shouldn't get a GoTY nomination. The game has great graphics, great gameplay and a huge amount of imagination behind it. IMO it should have gotten nominated. It shouldn't win, that goes to BG3, but it should have been nominated.

Edit: The fact it wasn't nominated was just political against J.K. Rowling who had nothing to do with the game except laugh all the way to the bank for the use of the license.

There are a few things I wish Switch would get before its replaced. I want a OoT/Majora's mask remaster pack, a Twilight Princess/Wind Waker pack remaster and the last 2 Metroid games remastered. They don't have to be remakes, just improved versions of the originals. Honestly if they were to make these, to me the Switch will have been a phenomenal system.

I will hang on to my original, digital PS5. Not worth "upgrading". They even managed to make the disc based system uglier than the original.

That's an interesting take, and I don't remember saying any of that. Sony could however become considerably more like Nintendo and succeed solely on the strength of their 1st party exclusives.

What I AM saying is simple. If you want to play the vast majority of videogames you wont be able to do it if you exclusively game on Playstation.

I will have to check this out. Diving off of buildings and such could be great fun.

That is one scenario absolutely. It only works for people who like me primarily play on PC or also own an Xbox. I was more referring to the Playstation only gamer, its going to have an impact.

Okay I have to admit, this is kind of cool and may get one as a collection piece.

It is going to become more and more interesting as people realize over the next few years that there will never be a ton of games to ever appear on a Playstation platform again. These include:

Doom
Diablo
Elder Scrolls
Crash
Fallout
and many, many more.

- Call of Duty will move to Game Pass severely cutting into Sony's revenue as its the highest grossing game on PS year after year. Call it crap all you want...

I haven't played a game on my Switch since Metroid Prime remaster, this might be next for me. A nice break from the run and gun games.
