My question is more like
Why not just make the PS4 a PC also?
My 74 yr old visiting father just had me put on his eye glasses and close one eye, then the other.
OUCH! So he said very similar thing. For one, Ive been working with 3D and art all my life... so my mind literally just thinks in 3d space... two my eyes have been exceptional ( well the computer screens have taken tolls ) between the two I was not perceiving the issue.
Having the glasses on made it all so clear! One side was fish eye distorted, close and blurred the rig...
I am trying to understand this "stereoblindness" I truly am.
But for the life of me I just can not fathom how one can see from both eyes yet have blindness in depth perception. Covering either of my eyes does not take my ability or understanding of depth of 3d space from what I am viewing.
Now, If I cover both my eyes! Then I feel your pain man...

The problem isn't the need for more first party old Nintendo IP's. Nintendo has failed to attract 3rd party interest thus far. This is a huge blinding weakness for them.
Before you scream at me, I agree those first party games usually are the Big N's best and the reason most buy their platforms. It is the sales of mass units to those who see great value and with 10 games on the shelf and 4 on the way until Christmas who wants to impulse buy?
How is it going to make much difference for Nintendoto not attend? It might actually be a good thing to not allow the two massive other platforms attention at this E3 to overshadow the struggling Nintendo.

In the first decade plus games were mostly kid/family targeted. It has not been that way for some time. Unfortunately, they make what sells. If more people would buy games targeted at kids/family they would make more. We could use some more quality games that all about severing limbs.
