Zoom in on the image. The light on the closest facing edges of the nub are bright lit. The surface just above has lighting and the light drops as it rolls over the top.
If the top of the nub was concave, the top of the nub would be dark just above the bright edge and the light would ramp up as it rolls to the other side. It is not concave.
Lightening on the device is from hard angle making the top of the stick appear concave. In other images they still appear original.

You know, I went over and over that clip and that single frame. While, I agree, the single frame looks very wrong, the video never really gives a good enough view as to know what is the sun and what is reflection. I came to the conclusion that there was a large object to the front of the camera and a source light from the side. I could be wrong.

I don't think I will ever understand the big deal on trophies. I play the game for the experience not to brag about what I did in a virtual world inside a game. Outside those in my life who also love gaming, the others wouldn't give a flying frigate about what trophies I've got in a game console.
It does nothing for me either, its a worthless gimmick. It also does nothing to enhance the game itself. Making them even more pointless to me.

I don't see how they are going to convince a large number of people to deal with configuring a projector with the console and finding a place for it... The New Kinect sensor is a beast. The first one took up enough space on my console. Now they want people to put another huge eye-sore in their living room? It's a cool idea, but only a few people are going to dedicate a whole room for MS version of a Holodeck.
