I don't know. Core audience is going to wait and buy anyway, probably buy 3DS version at launch also. But for general audience, which is large part of Nintendo consumer base, hopefully it does not hurt the Wii U until then. Nintendo has something to prove by this June. Maybe not to me and you, but to mighty round table-men in Japan.
Should be one heck of a good game that brings numbers regardless of Winter Release. I just wish Nintendo had something Big announced before ...
Had I played through the first version in its entirety previously, I still would want to start fresh with the Remaster version. Unless they add an amazing incentive to do so.
I second the 30FPS. This would give much more headroom for texture quality etc. As long as it is solid 30FPS, the game could be unrivaled.

Every penny. Especially if they include DLC and any new additions. I mean, everyone is going to have their own opinion on this, but given it has won so many awards across the industry and will be at higher quality than the original, I can't see it not being worth full AAA price at launch.

Might even see a redux of Uncharted series. The original would be a great remaster playthrough.
Having this much time to work on bringing TLOU to PS4 is awesome. It looked damn near Next-Gen on PS3 and now it will basically be at High end PC level graphically. Can not wait to see what has been done extra and in what ways.

MS is not making use of Kinect and not getting other developers interested enough for some reason or another. I think everyone else has backed off because it is still perceived as one of the gimmicky motion controllers that seems to have died with last Gen.
There is a lot of potential with Kinect, but I do not see many games and it is going to be E3 before you know it. As of right now, Kinect on Xbox One looks like it is not about games or is failing.

This reminds me of time with older games, rummaging about in the levels trying to figure out how they did things. Separate sky boxes, alternate areas, portal sections etc.
Maybe they just never intended for anyone to, or try to, fly out that far and it is just the design of that level.

I think you are spot on actually. Yeah, it can sound ok, but compared to a moderate 7.1... sorry I would just get a good set of dynamic stereo studio phones and let any modern audio device send virtual aural to it.
I wish they would stop calling these headphones surround or #.# surround. There is no center channel even possible. There simply is no way to get surround from two cups over ear. I have had several multi-speaker earphones claiming to be surround, not one of them comes even close to actual discreet surround at 5.1 let alone 9.1. lol

That's like trying to tell your wife that you get all the income and full control over it to spend as you see fit. This kind of arrangement never works.
It's not so bad spread out a bit. My kids have yet to get all figures and sets but they are still loving it. I found I was losing just as much on casual or garbage purchases.
Although, when they see this.. I am doomed though. Daddy wants a damn PS4, now they go and release this...
