I actually put about 100 hours into the game, and there is still alot to explore after beating it. I haven't played it in a while, but it was great while I was into it.
I love the previous story where people defended rockstar saying, " it's not like they put a gun to their head", and this guy says it's like working with a gun to your head. Theres not too many people, that comment, that understand what happens when you work for a billion dollar company. Rules and ethics tend to go out the window at deadline. I totally believe the management at rockstar are total shitbags.
They have made strides for those that enjoy the console, just not enough to become a leader in the industry. A console is only as good as the games it offers, so in that respect there is still alot of work. They have been acquiring studios, so theres hope for the future.
I dont think bend is trying to reinvent a genre, just make a solid game. Which is what it is shaping up to be. I think it looks fantastic. The media may be mad that it is a white guy protagonist.
If you played them in the 80s, you would appreciate how far gaming has come along. Alot of the classics are overrated, but at the time were cutting edge. The worst was going from arcade to nes. Yikes.
You got maybe 7 games worth reliving on the system. Not really sure what people saw in the system to be honest. Mario, zelda, and mariokart. Maybe smash? Meh.
Well, aside from the double standards of fanboys and the media, who have been crying about these games releasing on ps4 and vita, for a few years now, but now praise them on Nintendo. They are in a more mainstream position and probably dont want to give these idiots more ammo. Although, it seems, that they are in a dammed if you do/ dont type of situation.
Look, the system is a novelty for collectors. The nes, snes and genesis have remakes and compilations and digital games being sold and resold all the time. The neo geo is doing it for over 100 dollars. I get it. You are doing a click piece on a popular system, but seriously.
