Depends. Cod and battlefield have pretty generic campaigns, but what about games like halo? Would the idiots that support no campaigns in shooters be ok with no campaign and battle royale for halo? Or doom? I felt that the first titanfall would have been worlds better with a campaign, explaining the factions and backstory. As it was, it was another generic, but fun shooter that was done in a few months.
I'm only going for the games I like, and I am over 110 with a mix of a couple overseas and American releases. I was into limited run from the start, but had to back off. It is getting to be difficult monetarily, and the obsession is obviously unhealthy. Lol. It has been the funnest system to collect for, and the home stretch is here. Probably about 20 or 25 more to go for my collection to be mostly complete.
This one is quite a stretch. While I applaud them for finally giving in to backwards compatibility and removing some paywall for apps, theres not much that hasnt been reactive to losing ground this gen. Next gen will be a different story, perhaps, but we'll see.
To be honest, if you are into a physical library, it's not cheap at all. The backwards compatibility is awesome digitally, but try collecting the physical releases. You could be in the thousands if you are going complete.
If people knew how to shop, they would find gamestop is a place to get some killer deals. Got God of war for 16 bucks new on black Friday. People get mad when they buy a game day one for full price, and expect to trade it back for full price. Trade your games anywhere, bestbuy, amazon, and you get shitty trade values. It's not perfect, but, like I said, you just gotta know how to shop. People nowadays dont want to do the footwork, so they cry.
All the retro love it gets is great, but it still angers me that it wasn't recognized for what it was at the time. I was a Sega fan since the master system, and always thought they had way more innovative titles and tech than the competition.
Alright! I just want to thank Bethesda for taking care of their hardcore fans by offering some in game currency. I mean, sure, there was deception and lying to the fans about the game and what you would receive with the collectors edition, but it was much less than what no mans sky did as a small independent studio, vs. a large established one.
It's a great game, and the reason I bought a ps4. I wish they released the complete edition here, but I bought the DLC regardless. I encourage those that haven't tried it, to do so.
Never played their modern stuff, but I liked star wars 2 and alpha protocol. They always seemed like a game company that was almost there, but not great.
Copied or not, I have had more fun on my playstations, with the more varied and matured library in modern gaming. The snes was the last console I enjoyed from Nintendo, and even then, I liked the genesis, and Sega, better.
