Not a DC fanboy, but "never seen a bigger mess"?...BF4.
Took them about 6 MONTHS to fix the server issues where some maps were stuttering. I literally couldn't play because of that crap. I saw people playing through it because "hey I bought it, may as well play it". My brother was one of them.
The issues in DC are annoying. I played a couple weeks after launch, then played again recently. Slight improvement, but nothing to write home ...
I don't know man, the hate Ubi's been getting for this, is an over reaction IMO. I finished the game, played co op a bit, have 4 friends that played through the SP.
Only complaints I have and heard were falling through the map, slight frame issues (nothing game breaking), collision issues, MP connectivity, and my game personally crashed twice...that's it.
My experience with BF4 was FAR WORSE, and I didn't get ANYTHING free from EA.
<...
I tried the MP a couple times. Not as fun as ME3's MP. The grind is WAY too much for a simple "pass the time" style of MP.
You can buy chests with real money of course. They should increase the amount of gold pickups you get in missions IMO, it's simply not enough to keep me coming back for more without feeling like I'm grinding.
Not to get too serious, but I'm thankful my friends and family were there to help me get through my bout with depression. It was a rough 2 years.
Happy holidays.
That argument is dumb.
I love animals, can't stand seeing them mistreated, but this is a game. If this encourages someone to go and kill REAL animals for no reason, that person needs to seek professional help.
"Fifty million Frenchmen can't be wrong"
You have a point, but it's still a beta. Can't accurately judge a game off a beta, so you're telling us to do what Ubi just said not to do, which is to judge a none retail version of the game.
So I'll wait to hear the general consensus about the game, look up gameplay, and make up my mind.
But since it's Ubi, I'll probably give this game a pass. DA has been keeping...
Don't think anyone trusts Ubisoft at this point. Doesn't matter what they say. People are starting to associate them with hyped up games that turn out to be mediocre.
lol what a joke. Give people a small inventory, no storage chest, and now items that you're not suppose to sell?!!
Why even allow you to sell it?!! Beyond dumb. I've sold quite a bit of red stuff. 50+ hours in, and didn't know this. Well done...
WTF does .4 mean? lol
Was that just so it won't be an 8.5 which will be rounded off to a 9? So instead they gave it an 8.4, so rounded off it's an 8?
Waiting for the X1 review...any bets it'll be a 9.1?
Why? Equality? That's all well and good I suppose, but NOBODY I know personally watches, or even cares about women football.
If I wanted to play as mediocre football players, I'll play with the MLS teams ;)
These type of headlines make it sound like the ENTIRE PSN is down :D
I was downloading FC4, DA, GTA 5, and a few updates, WHILE playing DC, and then Destiny. I didn't get booted offline, nothing.
Only thing that went down for me is the store and account management, and a couple apps (Youtube). If I didn't know about the maintenance I won't have noticed.
Well I'm sure they'll happily take my money and not care if I play their game or not. Literally one of the worst launches I've ever seen.
It's a shame because the game is actually fun. Oh well, maybe I'll find time to play it in between DA, and Witcher 3, and Bloodborne.
Unity had a poor launch? I managed to finish the SP campaign with relative ease. Maybe my experience was different to other people but I can't see what's game breaking from the game.
I'm not even a AC fanboy, nor a fan of Ubi, but I can't help but feel this game has received ALLOT of hate. Why? Most games released these days have issues from day 1, hence you see patches a week or so after launch.
I'm not defending this practice, I think ...
No it wasn't. The Red Death was.
Finished the SP campaign, and quite a few co op stuff and side quests.
- A few frame rate issues (literally happened a few times)
- Fell through the map once
- Blue screened twice
- Saw AI bugs often enough
The game isn't great, but it seems people blew the issues way out of proportion from my experience with the game. The map icon clutter is ridiculous though, IDK what Ubi was thinking.
Kind of late tbh. I own the game and played it a total of 4 times since launch. With AC this week, and Dragon Age next week, I don't know when I'll play this game again.
I played ME3 MP, but I wouldn't call it "good". It was alright. It passed the time, and in DA it looks to do the same. No complaints about it having a MP, the SP hasn't suffered from it.
Can't wait for this.
"Reign supreme"? I think gamers in general will. If I had the money I'll have all 3 consoles. Next year I'll have an X1, and then when / if Wii U gets a little cheaper I'll pick one up too.
The whole "who's winning" thing is beyond dumb. Who's winning? The CEO's laughing at gamers for making these "wars" who are getting paid big money, that's who.
I'm looking forward to Dragon Age this holiday se...
I'm 50...he's always going to have greens and white.
"Destiny: Crota’s Sword now available in public events"...since the update on Monday.
