The figures, power discs, and playsets that feature that WiFi logo will require an internet connection the first time you use them, they'll prompt the game to update adding them into the game.
I'm assuming that none of these figures, including the Marvel Battlegrounds PlaySet were actually completed when the game launched. It'll be interesting how this feature plays out going forward, more fan demand items added post release?
I appreciate the heads up, I'll gladly take them down if requested. However the way I see it, as soon as bhphotovideo.com posted them on their site for pre-ordering it was already over at that point. I don't know what the potential street date may have been for these, but I'd imagine it would be creeping up quickly as it is.
The Marvel Battlegrounds PlaySet is dropping in March, but I know what you mean.
They have a plan for a single player mode where you'll have an opportunity to re-live iconic moments from the series as Jason and the Counselors.however it's a rather expensive stretch goal.
They're developing the game for an M rating, which is why they turned to Kickstarter vs standard publishing. They're aiming to do it right.
Thanks for sharing your story too, we definitely all have our reasons why we connect with gaming in the way we do... Good, bad, or ugly. Something else I've learned, the gaming community is great and we're always there for each other whether we realize it or not... Tea bagging aside, if course.
You and me both... GameStop is doing a midnight release, well worth the 30 Mon drive for me.
I'm desperately waiting for Day Z to land on PS4, I know its coming... Just don't know when.
I've seen rumors of March for Fett being released as a stand alone figure... But you know how rumors go.
