This game was ahead of it's time, so for a Dev to take it and bring the visuals up to current standards it makes sense that a completely revamped from the ground up remake is doing better than the original in reviews.

The battle Royale system is the future in PvP gaming. And the PuBG vs Fortnight battle will be like the CoD vs Battlefield FPS war. But give credit where credit is due PuBG started it

I think it's cool that MS is paying it's history respect like this. But that controller was dog shit lol.

They proved that they are still the best at making games. Zelda and Odyssey are so far ahead of what most 3rd party devs are trying to do. I don't want to say Nintendo has proven that a powerful system and graphics don't matter just because the switch is a success. The switch also is a handheld and the best handheld I've ever owned so that certainly helps too. But as a home only console they're still very far behind Sony and MS and if they don't continue to support it with...

I wanted to get it on the Pro because of this, but I had more friends playing on live and the X performs better so any 3rd party titles going forward will most likely be on my X.

Perfect example of why you should play all 3rd party titles on the X over the Pro.

Really?? So instead of giving your best GTA a single player DLC you'd rather just use pay to win shark cards and online only DLC?? Gotcha

Good for him f#&" all the SJW PC liberal pussies.

Glad I refused to pay 1 cent above retail for one of these I knew it would come back. You just don't sell something like that and make that much money and stop. They just weren't prepared for the demand and didn't have the production ready. They've proven with the SNES classic that they've fixed this issue. Everyone I know got a SNES classic pretty easily. I'll look to grab my NES classic in a few months once they've been on the shelf for a bit.

Yea there's been some highly reviewed games released so there's certainly something there for everyone. I love fire emblem series but not the dynasty warriors type gameplay I prefer the traditionally fire emblem strategy RPG. Xenoblade 2 had me intrigued and I may still get it. But Kart 8 is a port rather than a new game and the rest were just a bit too childish for my taste. I would also like to add to my original post that a new donkey Kong would also be cool this year.

Damn this would have been so much fun, but it turned out to be an amazing game solo so I'm good with it.

My switch is currently collecting dust again after beating Odyssey. Just like it did after breaking BoTW and all its DLC. Nintendo has the games they're just not here yet for the switch. I want a smash Bros would be nice in between waiting for Metroid. I doubt we'll see a Mario Kart until '19. Bayonetta doesn't interest me either does Pokemon.

I love stuff like this, I wish more developers would embrace this. PC has always and will always be ahead of consoles yet too many times devs make the games pretty much same across the board and but from the ground up like this for one platform. I'll definitely be getting this on the PC now.

Stupidest statement ever, the console race just got interesting finally since MS finally gave us a real contender and Nintendo just caught up to PS3/360 generation power. Switch is hands down best handheld I've ever played on. But in the age of 4k HDR TVs it's lacking as a home console this generation.

No system can force an update I've been doing this since Xbox/PS2 era and have been modding systems ever since. I've never seen a forced update because they can't do that. And I mean how could they if you keep the system off Network and never put any new cartridges in the switch? Play everything emulated and digital off of a memory card

There's a couple good reasons the switch will be a better on the go emulator option than a vita, PSP, DS, or some other device. One being it's power and the other its large display. And the mod scene is already reporting being able to run GameCube emulator something no on the go device has been able to do yet.

Yup won't be paying for that, in fact I'm keeping my switch at its current 4.1.0 software and don't plan on updating it again so as to hack it so it can run homebrew. I love the idea of playing classic titles on it on the go as a handheld. If Nintendo won't give me a virtual console on their store I'll just improvise.

I'd love to see something fresh and see them reboot the franchise. But they definitely should put a DK game on the switch without a doubt.

Sony is killing everyone so badly in the exclusive games that they can just pull a classic title from their PS2 era out and boom instant gold.

2917d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's pretty amazing that Sony can go back to its older PS2 library pull out a great exclusive title, remake it and it's gold. Are you paying attention Nintendo?? And MS you're not even invited in this conversation.
