So you expect COD to sell what 30 million copies. that would be rather impressive, considering it won't even do COD:ModernWarfare 2 numbers.
Besides that MOH has been selling quite well and by the time COD comes out they will have made plenty of money. MOH is different then COD and it's a welcome change. Now there are more multiplayer games to get killed on.
Money spent on advertising does not = good products. And just because a company spends that money doesn't mean that they will get good sales.

WorldWide close to a 2 million sold, and it hasn't even launched in Japan I'd say that's pretty damn good.

IMO Red Dead Redemption doesn't deserve all the high prase that it gets. I played the game to the end and found it to be okay, but I didn't care for the multiplayer, or co-op, and the extra stuff you can do in the game is mostly a waste of time.(IMO)

@dtrain21 seeing as how the PS3 has been out selling the 360 worldwide for sometime now there could definately be a swap between 360 and PS3 for second place.
Just like 360 fanboys don't want to hear about worldwide sales or the increase in sales momentum for the PS3 in EU.
Since is only coming from greenburg I wouldn't put to much stock in it. Really there is no proof to what he is saying in the article. It even mentions the fact that the NPD stopped reporting hardware sales figures.
Actually I think there goal is to get new different people to buy the 360 not there base witch let's face it pretty much all have one. There core target demographic have pretty much had a 360 for at least a few years by now. So if they get consumers to buy a kinect and 360 bundle then it is a success...
When your goal is new customers then That is how you will gear your products and ad campaign toward.
don't worry so much it's already sold 2 million, and today it releases in Japan. With Japan releasing Move it will easily get to 4 to 5 million before the end of the year. It will have plenty of dev support; hell it already does.
