This article makes no valid points, sure cross gen games are coming to an end, but multiplat games are better on PS4, sure people have short memories, but there's still a price difference, and most people will buy one console, and the fact that PS4 hype is still high, the demand is still high, and games like destiny that are being promoted heavily on PS4, watch dogs, the order, are going to keep PS4 going strong, plus all the great indie and F2P games.

That most recent demo you speak of, was 2 high end rigs, not XB1... Maybe you should go back and watch that video again. Cause it has nothing in it about the XB1... A high end rig is one thing, but it surly ain't an the same as the XB1.

Then why not show it on the XB1, and not 2 high end rigs. Once again the XB1 is not a high end rig, so how does this prove it can make the XB1 any better off than it is now, or bring it up to the level of the PS4
And where do you live, some times it's not about how hard you worked, some countries severally restrict bandwidth, some places in the US don't have stellar Internet.

They are using 2 "high-end" rigs(though no specs are mentioned) I'm sorry but the XB1 is not a high end rig.
Second they say with the cloud and a collection of other devices, so what are the other devices, they don't really say that.
If they showed something this working on an XB1, then bring that up as an advantage, but since they never, ever mention it running on the XB1 then you can't say this video proves what cloud can do for the console. <...

Will it move Wii U consoles, it sure will, but what Nintendo doesn't need is for it to give them a small jump and sales, and then go right back down.

Well I think there going for non gamers here, they compare it to Apple TV, or a rokou box, but added games to it. It's a set top box first, and a gaming machine second.
They really have the name recognition to make this work, but to get the full value out of this device you need an amazon prime membership too, so really your looking at a 240$ investment if you want the whole shebang.
What's in running at on 360/PS3 this is a cross gen game. Let's see if dying light, or batman Arkham night, or destiny, or watchdogs, or the next COD, or Quantem brake, or halo 5, any truly next-gen game runs 1080p 30 or 60 fps...

Whatever one he picks will be the one that put the marketing dollars into the show, IMO he will go with the XB1, and yes the XDF will eat that up as some kind of sign of things to come
To bad they didn't give him the job years ago, before all the bad that went down leading up to the XB1, cause the guys in charge at the time flubbed that up pretty good.
He has some challenges ahead, but he seems like a good choice, I mean he has been trying to bring more games to the XB1.

I imagine it's more of a server issue, I mean all the platforms( PC and consoles) have server problems with certain games. So think about BF4 running Xbox and PC and playstation gamers all on the same server IMO that would be a nightmare for them considering they all have issues now running independently.
Just a guess really, it could be any of the reasons already listed.
