Sony abandoned 1UP (which used to be a Sony funded site) because it couldn't compete with IGN (a MS funded site)
and 1UP got pissed because they lost the support so they went PRO-MS in all coverage and bankrupt.
GAMESPY is MS funded.
GAMEPRO and GAMESPOT are Sonys.
