Japanese games sell terrible on PS4, what's your point?
Before you say they don't name one that's made the top 10 on NPD, that was exclusive to PS4, in 2016.

I tried picking one up on Amazon, I got kicked out several times. Each and every time it appeared that the NES was in stocked, I clicked/added to my cart to be directed to an error page. Horrible Amazon.

@Phoenix XBox Live active users dropped two million due to owners of the original Xbox 360 closing accounts. However, those numbers will rise as the holiday approaches'. You lose to gain. Natural progression. The numbers are still at an all time high. By the way winning npd means the complete opposite of your theory new customers are buying.

Your completely off topic from this twitter feed but I will answer you from a business perspective. MS play anywhere initiative has offset/ leveraged all those worldwide sales so with regards to hardware sales they don't need to meet Sony numbers because they have Windows 10 with over 400 million users world wide and over 150 million of those Windows 10 users being gamers. Well said the fact that PlayStation hasn't really had a good game since Uncharted 4, a horrible release with No Mans Sky, oversaturating the market with 3 systems in 3 months, relying on on third party titles that so many PS fans called dude bro back in 360 era and no real fan service with regards to online updates or BC this is all starting to bite Sony back. Some people are in denial, this game is not as good. My friends are playing Modern Warfare Remastered and not bothering with infinity. I held off and I am glad.

But last year you and others thought Halo 5 didn't sell well and than you all got caught with your mouth hanging when you found out Halo was one of the top selling games last year. When you find out Gears sells just as much you going to be surprised.
Bac Compat is smooth on Xbox One. I believe the same will migrate to the beast Scorpio.
