I don't expect you to believe that Forza Horizon 4 is a world class racing game and does incredibly well. I don't even expect you to believe that Tomb Raider is on the same level as some of the other games you referred. MS is going to be competitive this holiday having some of the biggest 3rd party marketing deals with Shadow of TombRaider, Battlefield V and Fallout 76, the icing on the cake. Forza Horizon 4 is going to be huge. Lots of good games all around.
Right now switch just needs to focus on staggered releases of good games that caters to all. This includes more 3rd party games. No hardware upgrade required.

It's a first party game published by MS worldwide Studios, however due to it being made by a smaller studio I believe the awards lumps it in the Indie category.

Switch owners get MH Ultimate Edition and lots of other great games. They have to enjoy what they get. Reading various articles it looks like lots games are coming down the pipeline. Especially, since they are almost done with their ports and 3DS is on its last two years. More focus will be on Switch.
I love N4G but it is the same people day in and day out that post negative comments about Xbox when they don't own one.
I agree with the article Xbox Team has made so many quality of life changes and improvements on Xbox that I truly appreciate the console. Glad they are now putting that same effort into first party. Keep up the good work Team Xbox.

I thought Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Metal Gear, Y's Origin, Swort of Art Online, Dynasty Warriors, Warriors Orochi, Valkyrie Chronicles, Attack of Titan 2, Kingdom Hearts 3, Tales of Vesperia all proved that Japanese games are wanted on Xbox One. Not sure why you cherry picked this game for an article.
I see a lot of individuals saying future proof but in reality MS is on record stating there consoles are forward and backward compatible. So yes, a new console is coming the games being made will take full advantage of new hardware and old. Playground already working on Forza Horizon and they have another Studio. That's one example. Compulsion is dropping we happy few in a month. Overall, these teams are working for now and beyond. Ninja Theory will probably reveal new game next year.

Deep Rock Galactic, Darwin Project, Sea of Thieves, Robotron Infinity, Turok 1 & 2, State of Decay 2, Y's Origin, Hyper Universe, Day Z, Forza Horizon 4, Vigor, Black Desert Online, Ashen, Below. Xbox gets a lot of exclusives people need to go and play them.

The Xbox One X allows for 4K assets much more than resolution. Not sure why you felt the need to cherry pick the resolution aspect.
I don't think it will hurt the Xbox One X in sales, The X is a powerful system and when the new system releases it will not hurt an entry level system that can do 4K and 60 fps on games. I think both will co-exist fine. There is always a market for two solid systems.

Sales numbers are seperate from Game Pass numbers.
