It all comes down to preference but as someone who purchases games, I signed on recently with Xbox GamePass (for 6 months) I love the games on it. Solid value. My only problem finding time to play so many great games.

I think the Switch has a perfect balance of new games powered by first party exclusives, second party exclusives, third party multiplatform games, remasters, ports, and indies.

It all comes down to personal preference. I personally love Xbox and enjoy the exclusive games that quite frankly you can't get on any other system.

It really comes down to how you understand the gaming business.
For the consumer its perception of how well a hardware is selling that makes most believe it's a successful company.
However, you come off as someone who understands a little more as to how the information for the gaming business is blurred based on services, hardware, and software.
