I got an external hard drive. Best thing I did.
I believe Phil stated on a recent interview that certain games are using the cloud, right now about 35% to 40%. The technology is slowly growing with time. Next year the percentage will increase. As of right now cloud is used for AI, Drivatars and dedicated servers. As MS continues to push and provide it to developers they will embrace it. I expect next year and beyond is when you are going to see bigger examples Halo and Crackdown come to mind.
I always say play games not reviews. Bought the game can't wait to get in it. If I can only put down shadow of Mordor.
A well done collection will always be welcomed. I love gears of War.
@ Kayant that was only for a week. What's the story about the rest of September.
The threads keep using the excuse of free destiny give away but in reality that was for one week what about the rest of September. I think this had to do with gamers on Xbox like myself who loved bungie since Halo and going out and supporting them even if they had exclusive content for the competition.
I have had Xbox since day one and still have not had this problem. Please don't bring Xbox into this mess sony has with there online.
This generation will be defined by the games and experiences and so far for the last two holidays Xbox One has not disappointed. Keep up the work Phil and crew.
Exclusives are exclusives no matter how you spin it. Xbox One has shown great emphasis in bringing compelling content to X1 first. If they port over a game to PC later that is still in MS ecosystem plus allows PC gamers to enjoy some MS exclusives. Overall, for all of us who have X1 and dont have PC or PS4 right now MS has given us enough reason to to stay on Xbox One acquiring more exclusives is only going to help Xbox brand define this generation like the original Xbox which didn't have...
Nice bundle's this year I have seen a solid amount of bundles offered by Xbox One. Great time to pick up an Xbox One.
What happened to Scalebound News. I was tricked by this article.
I found the Kinect effective in these games, Ryse, Battlefield and D4. Looking forward to using it in Dragon Age, Witcher and in the future with Mass Effect.
@ Septic its like a phone to many people yelling you can't hear nor use Cortana or siri, for simple commands and this is why we all go back to using controllers. Personally when I calibrate I find it works effectively. When there are to many people speaking over my commands it does not hear me.
Using the Xbox One without kinect feels awkward. To me kinect strength's are voice commands, facial recognition, auto sign in, effective use of video capturing, Skype etc. The hand gestures are spot on but some times to sensitive with that being said, I still love the kinect and I believe developers need to integrate into story based games like D4.
Can't wait to get back into halo Master chief saga
Xbox One continues to show its muscle by bringing us what really matters the games. Keep up the good work Phil.
Bring on the games MS my Xbox One is on overdrive. Just added a new hardrive for all the gaming goodies.
I believe this is why we haven't heard from MS about any solid dates for upcoming titles. There's a lot of content from Third parties.
