Another fantastic pod cast. Love some of the points you made about Windows games and PC to Xbox streaming. @Lenrulesdaworld I feel like you as well, with regards to the Nintendo NX, I am more hype for NX then VR. I need to see the games first of course. I use to be a big Nintendo fan. I had NES, SuperNES, Nintendo 64 and Wii. I never picked up WiiU. Hope they have Bac Compat with new NX. As for the MS show in February I hope they bring out some surprise announcements.
Note I ...
Definitely on my Radar
Every week I hear another new title for Xbox One. Chris Charla and his team are working really hard to continue to support indies. I found myself buying way more indies last year and equaling out my collection of Triple AAA games with indie games. Keep up the good work Xbox Team.
Seems like everyone has an opinion. Well here is mine, I fine this generation to be like a Rocky Movie, Xbox One was down for the count by the naysayers and it has gone pound for pound with the best every year. Every year some one fines something new to hate on Xbox One about only to come back and say wow love the improvements, the games and system or in the alternative they continue to hate the system, spread lies and have no substance to what they say about Xbox other then to jump on the h...
This game looks like lots of Fun.
@Phoenix
You may not believe this but Rise of the TombRaider benefitted MS. I remember going on the MS website around the holidays and seeing the bundle sell out. A big portion of Playstation gamers that I know played it and loved it. Overall, the game added to a fantastic lineup that Xbox One delivered and the gamers who weren't concerned with console loyalty enjoyed it. Overall, how well it does long term is to be determined but so far it has exceeded expectations and h...
Xbox One is an excellent console. For the successor take the message they have now. Continue to build great First party titles, awesome controller, great price from the gate, Launch in more territories(13 territories is unacceptable), Overall make it all about games first and every optional feature second.
Looking forward to the DLC. Xbox One owners are in for a treat early on in 2016.
Give it some time babadivad. MS is improving the Xbox OS everyday. Probably by this summer we will have the Xbox Store with full intergration of Xbox 360 titles. I see the Xbox Slim coming this year with the OS fully optimized with the features you are asking for.
Game looks fantastic on Xbox One, day one pick up for me.
Love having Phil Spencer on board you can see his enthusiasm with regards to New IP. Slow and steady MS. As long as you provide the games the audience will come to play.
@YingYang
I agree with you but overall the real situation comes down too what games are actually coming out in 2016. For instance starting this year I believed Recore and Quantum Break were going to kick things off. Now Recore has been moved too latter 2016. So they have Gears 4, Recore, Crackdown 3, Fable Legends, HaloWars, Sea of Thieves for end of 2016 plus possibly Forza Horizon 3. That seems like way too many games. I think MS needs to think wisely in terms of launching ...
@Rbailey
"there is still a growing perception that the game didn’t quite live up to everyone’s expectations as far as sales, promotion, and hype goes"
Another article for clicks, Rise of the TombRaider is an awesome game. It got full blown promotion from MS and sales have been very good considering it came out with a ton of Multiplatform games. Overall, I look forward to future sequels. Rise of the TombRaider has instantly jumped in the list of awes...
I believe $399 to $429 here in America.
@FlipSwitch did you bother to see the video at the very begining the narrator indicates it is 1080p on Xbox One. Damn dude what do you do drink hatorade every morning with the mission to knock Xbox One. All I do is see you on the threads in Every Xbox One article.
First and foremost, the article seems to be written by a fanboy. The problem with Xbox One was its launch. Do you know that when Xbox launched it only lunched in 2 European Countries as opposed to PS4 who had launched in over 20 European countries for about a year. Hence the big sales gap in European countries. Then article goes on to talk about games. The games have been quality over quantity and MS has invested in more first party owned games. With regards to power yes PS4 holds certain adv...
Good to see Xbox One bringing it back.
Lol @ifistbrowni
Bungie's destiny lost me after a month of its original release. What a wasted opportunity. My days are spent playing Halo 5, Gears of War and COD Blackops 3. The Division will be welcomed with open arms.
People will always have a preference. I like Xbox One more because it caters to my gaming needs, having played D4, KillerInstinct, Rise of the TombRaider, DeadRising, Halo 5, plus more have giving me more then my moneys worth.
Well said YingYang and as big of a deal as PS4 having Blackops and Destiny is. I fell that Xbox One having a deal with the Division is bigger. MS has kept the Xbox One fresh with shooter fans throughout this generation with big shooters like Titanfall, Halo MCC, Halo 5, Gears UE adding The Division DLC, this year to the extensive amount of shooters shows MS is after new IP shooters while still holding the crown as the best place to play all the big blockbusters. This game will hold my thirst ...
