For me, a great game is one that screams replay value. Not in the sense that you necessarily get a lot of hours out of the game, but one that makes you want to come home from school/work to play it - it becomes your preferred pastime option and grabs your attention through its entirety.
As for what makes this happen? I think it's a mixture of personal taste (what appeals to the player) and, above all, great gameplay mechanics that gel. I know a great story and/or concept...
I think the game was more of a sleeper hit and gained a bit of a cult following in the months and years following its release. The actual idea of a first person parkour game is incredibly appealing to a lot of people; I'm sure the IP can become a success if they nail the gameplay elements this time round. I enjoyed the first game but felt like there was so much more they could've done with it.
You don't say? Solid piece of gaming journalism.
Sounds like he loved project spark. Definitely looks like their answer to LBP.
Article Ttitle = TROLOLOLOL. Going to reel everyone in like a big fish.
At the moment it's clear that Sony has taken the upper-hand, all signs are positive with E3 approaching. Looking at this from a purely objective point of view though, Microsoft still have plenty of opportunities to turn a few heads if they deliver their games promises and their new IPs look decent.
Looks very ambitious, hopefully they can pull it off!
Overall I think it was Ubisoft because they were consistently displaying great games, but as for the consoles I'd definitely go with Sony.
Looks nice, and it's even nicer to know that what's inside the box will be awesome as well :)
As I have played it before, the deciding factor for me will be whether it has trophies or not.
the world can't end today, my yoghurt expires next week...
Nice article but it hasn't actually happened yet, so until it does I'm not convinced lol.
This news makes me want to play as a mage now :D
Looking forward to at least testing it out.
Looking forward to at least testing it out.
I expect to see this new boss woman and Elena making sandwiches at some point in the game :)
Co-op campaign! Woo!
People only complain the rest are crap because none of them are like CoD4, they can't handle something different.
Hopefully as an aussie I don't get screwed over with the prices, the Au dollar is on par with the US dollar at the moment.
So it should auto-renew, it's an MMO.
Out of the ones I've played here's my opinion:
GTA San Andreas
GTA Liberty City Stories
GTA Vice City
GTA IV
GTA II
