Don't worry guys. After playing the demo on PC it's not even worth your cash. So many better games are coming out. If you've got KZ3 it's not worth moving on the Crysis 2. Then we have Socom, Battlefield 3 and Resistance 3 which actually looks like it has better graphics, framerate and gameplay. Crytek have no idea anymore. This actually looks surprisingly good. Great graphics, solid gampeplay, solid framerate. Crytek, you could learn a thing or two from Insomniac.
Everyone is focussing on graphics too much. The real problem with crysis 2 is the insultingly mundane and poorly executed gameplay,no matter which system you play it on. All the other factors stink as well. Not impressed even a little. Will not buy the game,especially with games of actual quality out there currently and soon to be released.
On another note, I'd like to think gamers aren't just a bunch of immature brats fighting over who has the best group of pixels....
And here we are having Crytek feed us garbage that no one else can do what they do. Everything from their graphics to gameplay is average.
It's not the graphics that is the let down. Although on all the highest settings I'm still unimpressed with too many flat textures. The gameplay is simply lame. I can't wait for Battlefield 3 for PC and Socom on the PS3
I just tried the PC demo. Extremely disappointed. Will not be buying this game, even if the single player is good. They were onto something in the original crysis, but they have no idea anymore.

Wow, I'm surprised this trailer made people this excited. It really made me cringe. The voice acting was lame and the graphics look average, and the combat system is so...arcadey maybe. Can't think of the right word to describe it. Hopefully this is just very very early footage with the voice acting just a proxy for the real thing. Damn, I was looking forward to this game earlier.

HAHAHA This article was obviously written by some kid who hasn't even played the game. Killzone 2 does have environmental lights. From the very first level you can quite blatantly see the sun. And it is very realistically casts shadows in the right direction.
I doubt anything this kid wrote has any merit to it.
