No, someone who is a vault dweller and thus has a Pip-Boy can give you a Pip-Boy.
Actually, Bethesda making Fallout 3 was like "the next gears of war not being be developed by epic" or "killzone 3 not being done by gurellia", since they are not the people who created the series. On the other hand, Fallout: New Vegas is being made by some of the people who created Fallout 1 and 2.
It's a separate game, not a DLC. And the Fallout 3 trailer/intro was a copy of the formula of the Fallout 1 and 2 intros, so New Vegas just follows the same tradition.
This was written at Interplay in 2000, long before Fallout 3.
It might seem fake at a first glance but I can assure you (with all my Fallout community reputation) that it's not.
It's pretty damn silly to ban anyone for modding a single-player game.

Yes, mouse and keyboard is a preference. Thing is, since most PC games support both m/k and controllers, on the PC you have a choice, while on consoles you usually don't.
Two years ago they were saying the they are not working on a PC version of Mass Effect 2, and it turned out that they were not lying, because someone else was porting it. So the answer to the second question here could mean the same thing.
Who says that the title of the N4G submission has to be the same as the title of the original article? I simply put the thing that would be the most interesting to N4G users in the submission title.
You'd know if you bothered to read the above description.
It's not a "translated article". Or rather, it is translated into Polish too, but the interview was originally conducted in English and you can see the original English version on the right-hand side of the page.
""Will the DLC be more like Dragon Age? Will we hear a signal coming from outer space saying "If you want to help me, please buy some stuff from us"?"
ahaha, I would have loved to have asked that, I doubt they had the balls to ask it worded like that though "
I transcribed the interview (and my boss conducted it) and I can assure you that this is precisely how it was worded.
Not sure about Dragon Age, but Mass Effect 1 was actually ported to the PC by an external developer, Demiurge Studios.
Remember how they kept denying that the PC version of Mass Effect 1 was in the works?
By the way, they said that *they* have been working on the 360 and PC versions - maybe another company is porting it to the PS3?
Even the fact that they can is good news. There was some doubt over whether Microsoft might still own part of the rights.
The author seems to be oblivious of the fact that the next Fallout, Fallout: New Vegas is currently being developed by Obsidian:

As well of Interplay's Fallout Online:

New Vegas is not on hold. It's still in development.
It's getting lots of traffic now, so it's loading awfully slow. Interplay's Chris Taylor says he's working on it, though.
