The problem is, Xbox one just got a lot of these features. You can't expect a new console to have more at launch than the previous Gen. Apps and dlna will come its just a matter of time. Both Sony and Microsoft have a long way to go before thier new offerings match up to thier previous consoles feature wise.
I'm happy that playstation did well over the holidays. However sony needs a complete restructure of all other departments. Losing 1.4 billion this year is not acceptable. If this continues, playstation will suffer and no one wants that.
If Sony was smart, they'd continue to invest in the studios that make the most money. They should expand their naughty dog studio to three teams. This way a naughty dog game could come out annually whether its uncharted, last of us, one of thier old ips or even a new one. This studio has proven themselves and they can sell a lot of games if they annually developed them over 3 year cycles.
xbox is outselling the ps4 in the U.S and U.K. Everywhere else is a different story.
in overall sales uncharted probably will due to install base. Unless the xbox catches up to the ps4. Attach rate will probably be higher for halo5 though. Most people buy an xbox for halo.
I'm interested to see what the division will look like on both platforms. That game seems pretty demanding. In an open world like that we should see some difference between the two. However those claiming the difference is massive are just wrong.
the order and uncharted have the ability to really show what the ps4 can do, but Xbox exclusives will be no slouch either.
