I have a feeling this game will only really try to be a graphical powerhouse, basically all Flash and no dash. I mean I feel that way about Alan Wake as well, a ton of hype, good looking pics (the pics are in 720p but aint the game supposed to be in 1080p?) but something...I dunno. Also, anyone notice that the ears look way too angular on some of the pics?
Halo actually started out as an RTS game that moved to TPS just before MS bought them then it was changed to an FPS, do your research.
Thugh I will say saying halo in the MS center piece is about as surprising as the sky being blue, considering that all new Sony IPs this gen haven;t even equaled in sales the 10 mil of JUST Halo 3 so when MS has Halo in FPS and then sell over 2 mil in a pretty decent RTS.

Since all KZ2 is is a world of nothing but browns and grays? Though they could have been bumped up some, the first few levels in Halo 3 being OUTSIDE and IN A JUNGLE as opposed to a drab industrial looking city with only 2 or 3 colors, give me Halo's anyday. Also, give me the tight controls of halo over the mushy, loose controls of KZ2 anyday.
And finally, Give me the different looking enemies of noticable different sizes, shapes, color, and ability any day as opposed to enemie...

I havent bought or owned a NINTENDO console since the SNES so I am in no way a huge nintendo fan or what you like. Since the SNES, my fave console has been the 360 even though I also have a PS3.

First, most that are saying the PS2 is in the right spot probably was born in the mid 90s or so if they think the PS2 should be number one.

.....a lot of people that were buying the PS3 for only a Blu Ray player can now pay $100 less or more for a stand alone Blu Ray player (I picked up really good panasonic one for $188) so knowing you can get a great BR without it also being a gaming system, the fact that PS3 was the lowest cost BR player on the market is a null and void point.

That survey you are touting as fact was an informal survey done by GI to 5000 readers meaning the average joe responded which mean that you can have 360 fans who never had a ps3 mark down it failed at 10% and you can have the reverse with ps3 fans saying their 360 failed wether they had one or not. .....how can we take you seriously when you said the first xbox came out in november 2002 when i bought mine with halo in november 2001, same month the gamecube came out. And as we know, like you sony antards say this gen that the 360 is only ahead due to the one year time diff, the ps2 was only ahead for being out 1 year before.
Also, much like with anything new, for the first month sales will spike, but then peter out like usually.
