Yea ages. By the time senua comes out it would have been a few years. PS5 did not exist when TLOU2 came out. And you're fooling yourself if you think Senuas was running on anything other than the most high end pc.
I disagree, other games are not even close to the level of facial and body animations. That's apart from the flawless acting, and script. ND is still unmatched.
How is PS5 outselling Xbox since it doesn't have any games.
The fact that it is a handheld forces parents into having to buy one for each kid. Consoles don't get that luxury.

Believe what ever you want. The truth is that game development as it exist today is not substainable if you're only making coins per individual players. Something got to give and it will be game development. More grinding, less content will be a norm. Get ready to be nickeled and dimed.

The problem will be once major publishers start to design games around rental services and games become water down experiences design to extract as much money from players. Even single player games will suffer because of it.

I'm really stoked about TLOU show. I typically wouldn't care since most TV adaptations are underwhelming but the director for Chernobyl and Neil Druckman are involved.
I prefer a movie. And I believe that it is already being planned behind the scenes.
I think few people doubt that it was actual game. The problem was that it was heavy scripted. So barely gameplay.
My main thing is how this is supposed to be impressive graphically but I just don't see. Games like Tlou2 have done dark and gloomy better with better facial and movement animations. And that was on last gen hardware. Not impressive at all.
