I have no problem with them adding ng+ because some people love it, but it's not for me in that game. I prefer ng+ in games like arkham knight where you get to go back with all the gadgets and play through the game that way. For a massive open world game like W3 I just wouldn't have as much fun though.
This kind of seems like a biased preview in my opinion. To say the gameplay in AC is bad is a little bit ridiculous IMO. I'm not a fanboy of the series but there have been some great games in the series such as AC II and Black Flag. I personally am tired of gta. I think San andreas was the best title in the whole series due to the fact that you got to craft your character as you saw fit. I realize that Mafia III is a predetermined character but I think it could be a breath of fresh air because of the time period and the weighty narrative that is possible during the 1960's. DLC isn't bad in and of itself, but when the DLC contains content that should have been in the game anyway then I have a problem with that. Frankly that's a ludicrous statement. The reason there is no single player is because it's cheaper to just build levels and let everyone just play deathmatch. I don't think sales will be all that affected by MGSV. I do think Mad Max will be surprisingly good, but I don't think it will be more than a cult hit.
I agree that it would be a little more accessible if it were in third person, but I think the fact that it's in first person is kind of what sets it apart. I love the look of it though.

I think the half-life games are some of the most overrated games ever. It's almost like the video game hipster thing to do is to say half life 2 is the best game ever. I could name hundreds of games that are better. To each is own of course but I could care less if HL3 ever sees the light of day.
