Bubbles for you sir
The more I read, the more I want to play it. I was a big fan of the original Predator and Alien movies, so I'm interested to see how this game in going to turn out.
I've attempted to join several campaigns throughout the day, and every single one has been in the red. It seems like everyone using Live is having the same problem, so I'm assuming its Valves servers. This is odd though... I never ran into the lag problems with the original. I just hope they fix this problem fast.
I don't know how anyone could say the graphics in this game are lacking... that looked fantastic
Am I the only one not excited about the throwing knives...?
They put a cap on every weapon's rate of fire... I've run into too many players using modded controllers who use the m9 like an SMG. Although, I am relieved to hear that players wont be able to ADS while dual-wielding.
The modded controller issue is getting out of hand...
I'm not really seeing the point of calling in a supply drop during a match. Chances are you would have no control over where it drops on the map, and even if you could direct the drop you would probably be dead by the time the thing hit the ground... Unless it refills your explosive AND ammo perk it's gonna be useless. Its a lot easier to pick up a dead enemy's weapon and continue moving.
This may not necessarily be a bad move. Even though I would love to see a live action Halo movie, this movie may give Blomkamp some good rep. One of the major reasons that the production companies backed out of the Halo project was because they didn't want such an inexperienced director (Blomkamp) directing such a high budget film. However, depending on how well District 9 does (personally, I think its looking great) it may spur more support for Blomkamp to actually direct a future Halo film....
That grenade stick at the very end was really close. It didn't even seem like the player took any splash damage. The grenades in COD4 would have definitely caused some damage at that range.
Ok, I'm sold! The ability to direct fire from the AC-130 during multiplayer is going to be a blast... literally!
You have to love a game that lets you specifically target an enemy's groin...
Could you be any more of a fanboy...? First off, don't compare Uncharted to the Tomb Raider series. Secondly, what difference is it gonna make if the 360 version has 2 dvd's? If its a good game it will be successful regardless...
Personally, I'm looking forward to this game. I thought the Tomb Raider: Anniversary edition was pretty entertaining. I'm sure this game wont break any records for graphic design or original gameplay, but It will probably be entertaining nonetheless.
not impressed by the graphics in that video. I'm aware the video isn't the best quality but the graphics dont look like much of an improvement from the first game...
I applaud the kid's creativity and his craftsmanship with those cutouts, they were actually pretty good. However, as soon as he started doing the reloading animations and weapon positions i really had to roll my eyes... First off, it just shows how obsessed he is with the game if he memorized Master Chiefs animations... Secondly, I'll guarantee he's another one of the kids (who technically aren't even old enough to own the game) on Xbox live who prides himself on his cursing abilities and abi...
Really no need to bring a Sony/Microsoft argument into this thread...
As for the graphics, I'm pleased. I'm betting that those screenshots aren't doing the graphics much justice, besides the fact the game isn't complete... Overall, I loved The Lost Chapters for the Xbox. The gameplay in the original was great. I'm interested to see how the one-button scheme will pan out.
Is definitly one of my favorite Xbox games. It was a solid FPS, and I loved the hand-to-hand combat. Im interested to see how the graphics will improve when the game is redesigned for a current-gen console. The graphics on the original were among the best for the first Xbox.
The "Rocket Bear" video was the perfect ending for this list...
