To make the facial animation as realistic as possible, Weta used a system based on the Facial Action Coding System (FACS), developed by Wallace Friesen and Paul Eckman. At one point, Weta had almost 900 people working on Avatar. The rendering of the film made use of Weta's 10,000-square-ft server farm employing 4,000 HP servers. Creating Pandora and the Na'vi consumed over a petabyte (1,000,000 gigabytes) of storage. The final film footage consisted of over 17 gigabytes of data per mi...
1. dam i got rick rolled into watching HHG.
2. those items behind him, are those like a collection of items that came with Special collector editions of games?...they look interesting.
3. I'm sure Quantic Dreams can step their game up even more like most great Devs can. Heavy Rain was round 1 and usually round 2 and 3 only get better. I'm excited to see what else they can do.
4. The Quantic Dreams "War Game" is it real time acti...
No don't want superficial violence but just a game with voice actors, better graphics which would lead to even more immersive game play.
Actually just let the Zelda creators make a new Zelda type game but not so Rated G but more along the rated PG-13 lines.
Zelda is a fantastic series but i'm just not into furry animals, fairies, and talking flowers.
I don't need Link chain smoking and picking up hookers but maybe a Zelda t...
A more powerful HD wii makes me happy.
hopefully a more mature feeling Zelda and more bells and whistles for Metroid. also with more power hopefully more Devs will take the time to make more innovative Nintendo quality games and not just use the extra power for stupid generic multi-plats.
Obviously someone is reading my Post because I suggested this quit a while back.
Like i said back then...it would be a win/win/win situation for Gamers/Sony/Valve.
Sony saves a ton of cash not having to deal with a Network plus they add the best online service available. Steam makes easy money. PS3 gamers get Steam games and PC gamers would get some Sony games.

$11K and your cable management looks like shit. for $11K you could of had tiny invisible elves carry the electricity back n fourth and used no wires. sorry i had to be prick about something.
subtract two 580's and use that money saved to water cool the other two. Overclock the hell out of them plus your CPU cause 4 way SLi in most games is useless.
I know he has a bunch of SSD BUT buy two 500GB PCI-E SSD with built in RAID O,1 controller and your all...
actually each game could run on it's own set of 3 screens in 3d 1600p max settings.
he could also convert 500gb of HD video, burn a blu-ray, do my taxes, launch the space shuttle, calculate pi, run prime 95, and download porn, all at the same time with NO problems.
I'm a huge Battlefield fan so i feel my pre-order money is just going towards the advertisement campaign anyway.
If you buy the limited edition then you should get something nice in return. As far as those having to pay for the 4 map pak....they are not forced to buy it and i'm sure BF3 will be jam packed with great FREE maps. These nostalgic maps are must haves for those like me who have been on the Battlefield since 1942.
I bought BC2 Limited e...
Do you mean will Modern Warfare 3 be more $60 DLC of Modern Warfare 1? then the answer is YES.
MW3 brought to you by CopyVision! nothing new since 1999
and yes Bobby kotick approves this message.
You're one of those....
Hardened Battlefield Veteran w/ Purple Heart status...Why yes I am. :)
Psycho Mantis from MGS is an all time classic along with the dam codec code on the game case...Just Brilliant.
Chronos...it just doesn't get anymore epic than that.
Liquid Snake wins the "Boss that will never die award". I remeber screaming "Got Dam how many times do i gotta kill this MoFo" the first time i played MGS...classic game.
I always enjoyed the Nihilanth in Half Life 1. I thought that was a pretty cool ...
....Um actually i have never left Karkand. been on that map since BF 1942.
very helpful bubbles +
as you can see the game sucks.
Red Orchestra Heroes of Stalingrad will be the best FPS not named Battlefield 3.
Free...no way as Crysis 2 has yet to turn a profit. that game has lost so much cash that i feel the DX11 patch has been canned. Hopefully i'm wrong.
Shogun 2 released it's first patch (HUGE patch) and it included DX11. Shogun released without DX11 due to an error in the program (read the patch fixes and you will understand) meanwhile Crysis 2 released without DX11 because it's just a console port.
The only great thing about Brink that i've repeatedly heard is how you can customize your character. "100 gazillion ways to customize your character".
Well I heard that same exact boasting about....APB..and look how that turned out. NOt so good.
I bought the retail versions of HL and HL2. I'm well aware of auto patch but my RETAIL copies of the HL series are NOT connected to my Steam account. Actually they are installed on my other PC that's not connected to the Internet.
so therefore the whole auto patch/download from steam thing does NOT apply to me and my RETAIL copies.
true Everquest was one of the blueprints to MMO's but modern MMo's blatantly copy WOW.
"The game won't come out until early 2012 in order to completely avoid Battlefield 3." - Ubisoft Spokesman - FIXED.
