I was shocked that a healthy dose of Gears 3 was shown without a bunch of M$ fanfare. It looked very good and easily the best graphics on the 360 to date.
yeh that I agree on. Some of the Mods are great and the Cryengine 2 is one of the best engines out especially with it's built in Physics and great graphics.

The media loves Blops and MW2 and you see how that turned out. Anyway the game has been out in Europe since November 2010 so if you got a Pc or Mac it's available but most people say it looks good and does most things very well and is a solid game to hold you over until The Witcher 2.

Early reviews are good. It means that the game is well made and the developer is not scared to hold it back. Well if that was a service the company would give you some coupons or a discount next time round. If it was a product well you could return it and get your money back. 1. It's cheaper and easier to release a 360 demo than a PC demo so this makes some sense but a PC demo would cut down on bugs and patches, dunno why no PS3 demo unless......
2. Microsoft paid Crytek to only release a 360 demo in turn doing that old "Plays better on 360 propaganda" like they did with a few other multi-plat games.
3. NO PC demo Who cares when PC gamers can play the game shortly after release and if it's good then go buy it...

Nobody played Crysis Pc multi player, the servers were always dead as it wasn't that great an experience. Which is OK because Crysis was a great SP game and all games don't need a MP.
This was a good history lesson as most of these games broke new ground in FPS technology or game play but.....
They seriously forgot Ultima which was a 3D First Person RPG from 1980 that laid the ground work in tech, style, and game play for FPS. Although not a FPS it was the game that made the tech possible.
