This is in my top 5 anticipated PS3 games along with GTAIV, MGS4, FFXIII, and KillZone 2.
Good to see God of War: Chains of Olympus is selling well.
General opinion seems to be that the game is good.
Because COD4 is a PC game.

This isn't a trend. The Xbox 360 is just having hardware shortages after 2 years, right after their biggest system seller came out.

I honestly didn't know there was a new Xbox until Gear of War launched. Great game.
Either they are really confident you will enjoy the game, or they are really looking for a way to get preorders.
This sounds vaguely reminiscent of the HDDVD strategy.
HDDVD players were down to $100 and Blu Ray was outselling it when it was $400.
