Madden definately isn't the best sports game ever...but that doesn't stop it from being a party favorite.

It doesn't matter how many Wii's sell, there will always be a market for PS and Xbox. Hardcore gamers aren't going to buy a Wii because it is selling well.
Wait, that doesn't make sense. PS3 owners are most likely to have multiple consoles? But if they have multiple consoles doesn't that mean they are 360 or Wii owners too? So what it should say is that multiple console owners are more likely to own a PS3.

I remember I invited my friends over to play Mario Party and SSB on my Gamecube, then playing Final Fantasy X on my PS2 after they left, and going over to my friends house to play Halo on his Xbox. Exactly when did it start to matter which console sold the most?
I think GTTV is the best game show. Lot's of interviews, gameplay, and world exclusive (lol) trailers.
Is Heavy Rain even confirmed to be a real game? It seems like a tech demo to me.

I said, I think it will be either LBP or Fallout 3. I haven't played either of those games and can't definitively say whether either of them will be good. But I have played MGS4, and being a longtime fan of MGS, I was disappointed by it.
No way MGS4 will win GOTY. I'm a fan of MGS and I think 3 was much better.
GOTY will either go to Little Big Planet or Fallout 3.
What revolutionary leap can you really get with a fighting game? The jump from 2d to 3d was revolutionary, but what now? They added online and a great character creator, that's as revolutionary as it's gonna get (I think).

Not because of money? Bulls**t, the reason they even make video games is to make money. A huge publisher shouldn't try to convince people they aren't in it for money. Who's next? EA saying they are doing it for the art?
This is an unfair way of gauging the greatness of a console. The more popular the console is, the more shovelware people will put on it because it reaches the biggest audience. So the better a console is, the more low scoring games there will be to bring down its metascore.

Besides the fact that Nintendo has been in the console business for 5 generations and Sony has only been in it for 3, Sony still has over 150 million PS2's in peoples houses, and it is still selling 250,000+ a month.
Where's that PS3 MMO we were supposed to hear about this year, NCSoft?
