Wtf did the author even play the original? The original FF7 is way more linear till you get to a certain point.

Don't even bother grinding in normal. You will gain way more exp in hard mode, it only took me 2 chapters to get my characters to lvl 50.
I just got my platinum trophy yesterday. To be honest, I was kinda disappointed because I was expecting for a far greater challenge but it only took me 48 hrs to get that platinum trophy. These are some tips on how to beat Hard Mode with ease:
1.)Max out Prayer materia to all charaters. I can't stress out enought how important this materia is because there's no way to restore MP outside of battle (items are forbidden in hard mode.)
