Everyone that has been tracking this game knows it ships on the 7th in N.America. They have just been advertising the 12th cause thats when they'll have all the crazy press events and special offers or whatever. I bet that I'll have beaten the single player campaign by the 12th and be ready for some killer multiplayer chaos come Emergence day!
And for those of you in Europe they will probably have them in stores before the 17th so hopefully the store you go to has someone cool work...

I bought it when it came out and beat it in a couple of days. I suggest you rent it and play through. I found it an entertaining game, nothing that wow's you, but worth a rental if you like first person blaster game's.

I liked the "Is it a Spider?" achievement. Can't wait to stick a grenade on some fool and watch him go Boom! Then do it 99 more times! I heard you can do it with smoke grenades also. Its going to be hilarious watching someone trying to hide with a smoke stream coming off their back.

I just downloaded the trial version and had fun playing it. I wish it was just a little cheaper though, it's just a tad too much for me to purchase the whole thing. Perhaps after I play the trial a few more times I will become addicted and won't be able to help myself....we'll see.

A first gen Ps3 game should look as good as a second gen 360 game. It has taken a whole freaking year since the 360 release for Sony to finally catch up, except in Europe where they will still be waiting. For the price, the hype and the year of waiting, the Ps3 should blow the 360 out of the water. If BluRay ever takes off, which I highly doubt, and Sony gets some exclusive games that I just have to play and when the price drops buy $150 bucks then I'll consider buying one. There seems to be a big push in the last couple of weeks to get even more talk going about Gears. Cliffy seems to be interviewed by everyone and their uncle. Sadly this one has the least amount of relevant info. The one question I would actually like an answer to was the one about the use of the 3 cores. Oh well, it still works on me though, I've checked out all these interviews to try and glean as much info as I can. I have preordered this one!
Bankshot Billiards was the first XBLA game I bought and I don't see the need to buy a full retail version of snooker.
