I wouldn't say a bunch of remakes, low rated games, and mario makes it worth it. This console is dead. We don't care about it anymore.
I don't think games without a singe player should really be worth $60, with a few exceptions. This game should be worth 40 or 50. Just like I don't think COD should be worth 60 with only a multiplayer.
It's a great device. I love it. But it seems like sony doesn't want it to do well. The vita definitely needs a relaunch.
It's probably going to be 900p with lower textures, AA, etc. That's what it's looking like most games will be. It's not really resolution-gate anymore. It's more like ps4 is getting another tally mark.
My guess is that the ps4 will almost always have higher detail and 1080p vs 900p and there will be some cases where it's 720p.

Every game on the ps4 looks better or the same as it's xbox one counter part. The only games that look the same are sports games. Penello also failed to mention that the ps4 isn't only getting higher framerates, and resolutions. The details in almost everything I've seen are noticeably higher (AA, textures, etc). There is a difference. If they ship 4 million units in a month, but it takes a year to sell, is that really more impressive than sony shipping and selling two million in the same amount of time?

Phil spencer is the only guy from the xbox team that I don't hate. He actually seems to make genuine statements that don't seem completely full of crap.
When you get a statement like this, it's clear that they did exactly what we thought. A statement that's a paragraph long yet says nothing has never helped with PR. I don't see why these statement keep getting made by any company.
