I have to disagree with you there buddy. People misunderstood what the story was really about which is the cycle of violence between people that lost everything, because of it. To stop the violence they had to move on from the memories of the tragedy they experienced. Violence itself was the true villain in this game.

The only thing needs fixing in Horizon Zero Dawn is the human Ai that is cannon fodder for Aloy's weapons. Fun sections to lay waste to the enemies, but they are not the greatest Ai ever. The focus was more on the robot Dinosaurs Ai. I hope the next game give us more dynamic Ai from both robot Dinosaurs and humans together. Even have the humans ride robots Dinos to attack Aloy.

Well there is a way around this when it comes to third party games. Gamers remember that both Sony and Microsoft always have marketing deals with third party developers. Sony has marketing rights for Call of Duty and Microsoft has mareketing rights for Assassin Creed Valhalla for example. I am pretty sure that there will be third party games that will take full advantage of the SSD.
As for the lowest common denominator, I blame Microsoft for forcing crossgen and low end PCs...
