Ha funny you say that when Insomniac already said, that the seamless switch between Miles and Peter as both Spidermen is not possible on PS4. This is based on the same idea from Ratchet And Clank Rift Apart, seamlessly going through worlds in seconds. PS4 HDD drive would take way too long to render the whole city. Spiderman 2 would have to be delayed if it was cross gen, which is a big reason why Square Enix drop the PS4 version of Final Fantasy 16!

I know they want to reduce the price to $60, which is thoughtful of them but having just an online only release is bad like straight to DVD without the full package in Theaters!!!
