PS3 had so many good games in 08(MGS4,Resistance 2,Motorstorm 2,LBP,Valkyria chronicles,Wipe out HD,Siren ,....) .PS3 even won the console of the year award from IGN due to having lots of good games in 08 compared to other consoles.you can check it out on IGN website if you are interested.
