GTA games USED to be exclusive, now that they are multiplat there is no need to buy a particular console(which means they're not a system sellers...Duh) because you can play it on the console you already own.(excluding the Wii, but I doubt wii fans even wanted the game)
I'm guessing the writer forgot the fact that both consoles still cost a pretty penny. Wait till there the Wii's price, then decide whether next gen is "doomed" or not.

It's just drenching in fanboyism. I know every article is laced with a little bit of preference but this article exaggerates every point it makes. MGS4 is not the only good game, developers have not abandoned the PS3, developing for ps3 is not THAT hard, and Sony never actually denied that developing for the PS3 wasn't easy, or lied about any other serious problems they are,or were having.

I doubt any company in the world has enough money to buy square, let alone EA. Besides, I don't think Square wants to be bought so most of the talented people would probably leave.

haha, that's pretty messed up when you think about. it's like we're going backwards now, which would have been fine if it wasn't the fastest selling console yet going in that direction.
it may not have affected the games we get but it definitly affects the games developers make.
