demon souls was one of the craziest experiences i ever had, ever chapter you beat; you would brush off those beads of sweat off your brow and feel like you truly accomplished something.

Imma go with the best of both worlds and get Resistance 3 and Gears 3. One of which I already own and currently enjoying.
Killzone 3 was a great game but it didnt fully satisfy like everyone expected, and Im just starting Resistance 3, so far so good.

Yeah read them in the order they came out. My personal favorite is the Fall of Reach. The Flood is basically a retelling of Halo 1 but from different point of views and First Strike is also another great read.

I never felt more accomplished when beating a level in a game than in Demon's Souls thats just saying something. I have yet to get Dark Souls but it is for sure on my list
