I just want to know what type of marketing strategy is Xbox going for here. You dropped a lower priced console to only make it more expensive cause it has a low storage capacity. So do I spend 500 now for for a XSX or do I pay 500 all together for a weaker console.

The series s was made as budget model that’s it.
Breath of the Wild lost to Horizon for game of the year and sold more and had a better overall score. We still haven’t heard Link speak a whole sentence in like 30 years.

Xbox players have to make sure this feature is legit because with no exclusives. They have no choice to play old games

I believe XSX will be strong competition to the PS5 but no exclusives for a year or two will hurt them. Also sharing all your games with PC is another bump. If I could spend 200 or 300 more and get all Xbox games (cracked, steam, epic account) and a PC obviously does way more. For sure they have to get this console right because another loss to Sony might kill them

All I can think of is publishing issues with older titles and studios wanting to release the rights to Sony and Sony wanting to pay them for that. Good point though
I understand backwards compatibility is a great feature to have, tbh as a business why would Sony allow you to go back as far as ps3 and ps2. That’s where they could capitalize On PS now sales and feature those games for ten a month since the demand is so high.
