Hmmm... I was really sad after killing every Colossus in Shadow of the Colossus.
But I know what you mean and I share your opinion.
MGS4 was an excellent game and I'm sure that Killzone 2 will too.
And you know what's better? It's better for me, as I can play both :D

.. Gears Ok, why not. Graphics are great and gameplay is ok.
.. Mass Effect. Yes. I've played it on PC and it's good (although I stopped playing when MGS4 arrived :D).
.. Fable 2. I liked the first one and I would enjoy to play the second one. Maybe when the PC version is released :D

... the game is broken. The PS3 version may have more problems (but I doubt it), but the whole game is a mess.
I'm trying to play it on my PC and it crashes as soon I try to leave the vault. If a patch (or a workaround) to all these bugs isn't released soon, I will return the game.
Yeah that's the same part were I had wet eyes in the ending of MGS4. The music, the story, Otacon's words.... The only other time I was "sad" by viewing/playing something was at the end of Armageddon, when Bruce Willis talks for the last time with his daughter.
How can these people say that games are emotionally inferior?
60Gb Jap console in Europe and have downloaded 2.50 without a problem.
IF there is a problem, just download the firmware 2.50 on your PC and update using an external media.
I see that the story was updated, but there are 8 silver trophies, but also "only" 26 bronze trophies. The total is 39, not 40!
You lucky Americans, we Europeans won't get the LE :(

Ratchet&Clank and Jak&Daxter are probably the most popular "mascots" of the Sony consoles (appeared on PS2, PS3 (Jak WILL appear on PS3) and PSP).

I tought it was already clear that QFB would appear also on BluRay here in Europe. I'have my copy since yesterday (although I haven't played it because of the LBP beta :P) and payed it 15,99 € here in Germany. But there are other shops which try to sell it for 19,99€.
I just finished Act 1 and the story is fantastic! (well, the whole game is fantastic till now).
9.3 as overall score is ok (I would rate it higher), but to give 8.7 to the story only means that they didn't understood it.

But why can't it be like those times? Todays videogaming has become really important and wide spread.
It is sad that instead of talking about games, people prefer to discuss about sale numbers, this game is better on.... and so on. Even the medias have noticed this behaviour (in more than one review I read something like "and for the fanboys, the game is actually better...").
I mean why are we all here on N4G? Isn't it because we have one and the same passion called vid...

You can play with that shirt! After beating the game once, start a new one and press start, than under "Rewards" you can choose other outfits. For the one in the pic, you have to input a special code, that you can find everywhere on the net ;)
The second player in LBP already gets the trophies. I didn't knew it, till my girlfriend logged with her PSN-Account and she had the trophies (and the items) she got while playing with me.
