The first "wave" of 5G won't be the true 5G we were promised, as massive infrastructure improvements are needed before we taste 5G in all its glory. https://www.mckinsey.com/in...
Would be awesome if someone could approve this story :)
@jun19inf
Sony actually turns a profit from selling games. Microsoft LOSES money selling games. The xbox would for sure disappear before the PlayStation.
@Sayai Jin - it's not "insider info," it's literally one Google Finance search away.
PlayStation is more meaningful to Sony's bottom line than Xbox is for Microsoft. So Sony absolutely needs PS ... but let's not play coy here like PS sales aren't obliterating Xbox One sales. Microsoft's latest move is a desperate one, and will likely stall sales over the next year until Scorpio comes out. Either way, it's way too late in the game for the Xbox One to catch up to PS4 now.
@HVD222
Uncharted 4 sold 2.7M in the first WEEK. So...
Microsoft's worth about $400B actually. And of course MICROSOFT isn't going anywhere. The Xbox is just a loss leader for the company, it doesn't have to exist. And many shareholders want it to go.
The point is the majority of consumers don't buy PCs just for games, though. Now, if you have a console with three different levels, and one supposedly vastly more powerful, why buy an Xbox between now and holiday 2017?
The Neo is mentioned in the article. But Sony isn't releasing TWO consoles, but likely just a slightly more powerful console that handles VR.
That is pretty awesome!
We should all, like, live in a world where criticism is banned from all the consumer products! *High fives*
I'm sure, and I'm sure id enjoy playing it, its designed to be fun. The point is to take risks and to stop solely clinging onto outdated cliches of the gaming industry.
And btw, if you want your reply taken seriously you should probably not reference Wikipedia. Bye now.
Every movie you named comes from an established brand/franchise or is intended as part of a new franchise. There will never be Interstellar 2 or Inception 2. There will be Pacific Rim 2, Edge of Tommorrow was not an original idea, neither was 47 Ronin, and World War Z also has a sequel coming.
Care to elaborate?
But difficulty IS important. It's important to game design and important to enjoyment. If you play a game that's so easy you never get around to using 50% of its mechanics, then it's bad game design. So, yes, difficulty is important.
I'm not saying every game needs to be "brutally difficult," but that a certain level of challenge is necessary for enjoyment, and in the case of MGS3, it's important to establishing the necessary skills to finish th...
Well, good thing the article neither discusses "games" in general nor does it say they're only "good" when hard.
Well, we do know enough to know that 5G isn’t evolving our tech overnight :)
