I'd like to know how much content is being provided for round one.
Best not be a trolling situation of getting out of Midgar after a detailed story and being asked to wait til next year and pay up again.
My other worry is this going in the direction of yearly content at full retail to keep us going on and on.
Go away and buy another season pass.
Spoken like a true modern gamer. If you want running around avoiding enemies then go buy Call of Duty.
Tony Polanco quite frankly needs to shut up.
He is moaning the classic game having "limited hardware" did he forget back in them days it was seen as a massive amazement. I get the vibe he wasn't round when this game just arrived.
Having a large game can be done. It's best for them to delay it for a long time and give us the full experience. No one knows the timeframe they are on I will take a stab in the dark and say they have got so far one...
It makes sense to me, newer more powerful machines providing it.
Being early is the right time to consider a balance for fans and themselves.
Episodes based on a game with a full story is not the right direction. Delay it a year more give us an extra two discs and up the price slightly and it will sell in the masses.
They said they care about the old fans tjen why don't you start listening to them?
I can't see how they will not provide a beginning a middle and an end.
Fan or no fan, how can you justify playing a game only for the logo "to be continued" at the end.
They need to put as much as they can on the first part.
This just doesn't add up to me.
Yes it looks good.
Delay the game and give us more than one disc and charge slightly more.
It's a total con splitting an old game.
You and that comment are the very reason gaming has turned in the Wall Street.
So did FF7..
They see dollar signs not fans. Disgusting.
This screams of large DLC with season passes.
It's clear the game is too large so being done sections for money. I am so sick to death of companies ripping off customers and ill educated buying into it.
I'll buy the classic instead.
In fairness the words 'remake' give you a clue. Just hope it's not a basic FFXV mod using FF7 as a guide.
My ideas are online chocobo racing with a more in depth breeding program.
Original arcade games remain the same or slighty updated and each one given an online leaderboard.
Another is an online store where you can trade items/gil etc.
Looking forward to it but it does feel long winded heading towards 2016 and hardly news.
VR has along way to go.
More money I see...
This comment is a direct lie both PSN and Xbox Live require a subscription to kerp playing free games provided.
VR got ruined and will be another idea for the next ten years.
Many are missing the point that FF7 has stories/games/movies built around the main plot so they can be added into the episodes.
I wonder if these will be added into the story and change bits and pieces. All I want is the main plot from start to finish available on the day.
