Proven nothing, the DVD helped the Playstation 2 because it were the cheapest player and Dreamcast didn't support it.
Dreamcast did support the online/internet way earlier than Playstation 2. I remember telling people to watch DVDs while I go online playing Quake with PC folk.

Provided a better console than Playstation 2 but many listened to the hype and trashed talked the Dreamcast to it's death. I even remember people saying bad things and never even touched it.
The Dreamcast had everything you could want at the time and could even play with PC people.
The new rare game is a good example of what they should be doing.

It's clear these consoles are not as advanced as they should be. A true next gen console should be 12TFLOPS with a 2GB SSD and the price should rise for the console only.

Can't understand why people want more power in an Xbox, all exclusives will arrive on PC, the true 4K machine.

Disappointed it's gone down the Halo/Titanfall route, enjoyed the tension when you were running and hiding.
The graphics don't look that much different than before either just hoping the story is strong like the previous.
eBay have plenty or better still build a PC yourself with a guide if needed.
