They show developers they can do the same game with a different skin and it'll still sell. They buy based on hype instead of quality. It's unfortunate but Casual gamers far outnumber hardcore gamers.

true i agree. I still prefer it this way though. I'd rather my game be unplayable until friday (patch date), than pay £40 upfront to have it running online.
