i HATE all the sony fanboys

the Sony Defense Force went into overdrive as soon as the PS3 came out. Proclaiming games like LAIR would kill off Microsoft's next gen console

most likely spurred on by the MORONS that were lauding the 360 as the best thing since sliced bread (even though there really werent many good games out for it)

are the problems serious enough to lead to discs being scratched on their own, repeatedly (as in not an isolated event)

or are the problems just such that it makes the console VERY delicate?

How many people mess around with their 50" lcd display? moving it from room to room, laying it down, standing it up? People UNDERSTAND that it is a delicate piece of hardware. You can practically sneeze at screens that big and end up with a cracked p...

of having any console vertically seated.

The only console i keep vertical is the wii. The others are always always always laid flat.

1.5 years for my falcon 360, no problems. I leave the thing on overnight on the regular. No scratched discs, no DRE, no problems at all.

3mo for my ps3, no problems there either.

2 years for the Wii, no problems there.

Am I just the pinnacle of luck? Or are there an awwwwful lot of retards out ther...

my main concern would be battery life

it's bad enough to have your media player and your phone shoehorned together...add your portable gaming too? Phone's not gonna last long on a charge with that kind of use...and you CANNOT replace the battery on the iphone.

i sense some troubled waters as people realise that all-in-one systems have some seeeerious drawbacks
